SWF GOLF-CROQUET MATCH AGAINST SIDMOUTH.

In glorious sunshine, on the Sidmouth seafront, the Cornwall Croquet Club played an evenly-matched Sidmouth team in a golf-croquet league match last Thursday.
The lead constantly changed throughout the match, with several games decided by one hoop only, and three ending in a tie.
Towards the end of the match, Cornwall had a commanding lead but finally won the match by just one point.
Result: Sidmouth 9 ½ Cornwall 10 ½.
The teams were: -
Cornwall - Elizabeth & Paul Schofield, Tracey Wilschere, Trevor Bainbridge, Howard Rosevear, and Ron George.
Sidmouth - Muriel & Tony Philpott, Ian Friedlander, David temple, Ann Ratcliffe and Cliff Field.
